The Bay View Neighborhood Association in conjunction with the Milwaukee County Parks is thrilled to announce that the Chill on the Hill concert series in Humboldt Park has been expanded beginning this summer. The BVNA, in partnership with the Milwaukee County Parks will host 13 dates this summer, beginning June 3rd.
The Chill on the Hill concert series is a family-friendly event taking place every Tuesday night and parking is plentiful. Nights involving opening acts comprised of local school and youth groups will begin the fun at 6:00 pm with bands taking the stage at 6:30. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the eclectic mix of music that the Chill on the Hill planning committee is working hard to provide. Additionally, the Milwaukee County Parks concessions truck will be on-hand for refreshments.
Event chair Carol Voss states, “We’re looking forward to a full summer of music at Humboldt Park’s band shell. This year, attendees can look forward to an even bigger and better opportunity to meet their neighbors and chill on the hill!” The season will conclude on Tuesday, August 26th.
