Didn't the State Fair Park Board learn from the Pettit National Ice Center financial albatross?
Now they want to develop the land along I-94 between 76th street and 84th street. The state is not a developer. Sell the land to developers that have expertise in developing and let the Fair Park Board and the state avoid another financial disaster. The Pettit Ice Center was a financial disaster. What makes the Fair Park Board think they can be successful at developing the land into museums, theaters, food establishments, sports medicine centers, and businesses?
