She's been married for 11 years, has a seven year old daughter, works in the family business, and is pursuing her master's degree in business administration (almost done!). She enjoys doing anything that keeps her from doing what she is supposed to be doing, and has aspirations to wake up one day and find that she's (suddenly and through no fault of her own) a big-time writer.

re: Life in a Luxury Box

I was as fortunate about a month ago. Our evening then was courtesy of a local bank. I used to think that a seat on the mezannine at County Stadium was luxury. Woooo! No comparison!

We sold out before Christmas. But we have them in stock now and I know we will sell out before it even snows based on last years winter.

Check out our site http://roofrake.com. I also have another site calle www.telescoping-pole.com that has some snow roof rakes as well but it has a lot of other pole related accessories that need to be telescopic.

1. The oversized kids (40+ adults) that sit in their chairs in the front row and don't let kids sit there.

2. The kids that think they can go 1/4 mile each way to take candy from other kids, just blatantly go up to parade people asking for candy and the parents who just let their kids do that.

3. The parade people who had the brilliant idea of throwing candy out the back of their vehicle in the middle of the parade route (McDonalds) and then having kids scramble into the parade picking up all the loot.

(I am one of those people who try to reserve a spot only to have my kids (and whatever other kids are around) to have a front row seat. My wife was there at 7:30 PM and there were no seats left.

We will be going to the Tosa parade tomorrow morning. Park at Mayfair and then walk a few blocks and set camp somewhere in the median. The kids will get candy, we will get sprayed with water, cover our ears a few times, and, when is all over, go home. I guess some people see it as a "tailgate" of sorts: they go early and claim their spot, and hang out until is time...no time for that. So I will be getting there right before, and leave right after...Happy Fourth Of July!

Do the bike tour of the island. Very cool.

If you want a really excellent adventure you must consider traveling to the island in the WINTER.

Nothing like ice and heaving seas to test your mettle for island life.

BTW - If my recollection is correct there were more than 6 graduating seniors from Washington Island this year....
