A while back, I wrote a blurb regarding the rumor of a new speakeasy opening its doors in the downtown area.
As a matter of fact, I may have also said it could be open as soon as the October Art Crawl.
Well, the Crawl has come and gone and there are no signs of this speakeasy anywhere.
Or are there?
It seems the conversion of old office space to a new drinking establishment has met with a few obstacles (as can be true with any construction).
So the opening day has been postponed- perhaps until the next Art Crawl, which graces the streets of Waukesha December 2nd.
This should allow the owner ample time to get things straightened out and in good order.
From what I understand, it will be worth the wait.
