Why, after the incident on January 18, wasn't this guy locked up? This makes no sense. And why don't the police know if the guy actually owned the business or just worked there? You would think that they would be on top of those kinds of details if there was an investigation in progress.

This is just like the case of the marine that they are looking for in Mexico for the murder of the female marine in South Carolina. In order for the Mexican authorities to hunt this guy down and arrest him, the U.S. Government needed to file for an arrest warrant with Interpol. Which they didn't do until Mark Fuhrman brought the issue to light. Now, maybe this guy will be found. He probably will never be extradited though because he is accused of murder and Mexico will not send him back if he faces more than 50 years or the death penalty. Maybe the F.B.I. was hoping he wouldn't be found there and maybe would make his way back to the U.S. where he could be arrested here and we could say - Hurray for justice!
