That was quite an article the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel ran Sunday about restaurant violations in the city of Milwaukee restaurants. More than one out of three restaurants was cited for violations by the City of Milwaukee Health Department since 2007,
McDonald’s (granted, there are a lot of them) had 250 violations.
KFC had 195 violations.
Burger King had 83.
George Webb had 85.
Taco Bell had 68.
Arby’s had 23.
Cousin’s had 25.
Leon’s Frozen Custard had 18.
How about some of the best restaurants in the city of Milwaukee?
Bacchus had 7 violations.
Sanford had 9.
Dream Dance (it was lumped in with all the Potawatomi Casino restaurants) and all the casino restaurants had 11.
Karl Ratzsch’s had 21.
Mader’s had 14.
Yanni’s had 9.
One could argue that you're better off dining out in the suburbs.
Will these reports stop me from going to any of the city of Milwaukee restaurants mentioned above?
Not in your life.
