Sympathize with the 9-year old pitcher, not the lady golfers

The LPGA is going to require that its members know how to speak English. With TV viewers declining and sponsors growing ever reluctant to advertise, the organization doesn’t think it’s too much to ask if the players, when placed in front of a microphone and camera, be equipped to converse with a predominantly American audience.

As expected, the liberals who work for the press see racism. They see American female golfers being pushed around by golfers from other countries being whiners and complainers. They see the LPGA as being unfair.

You want unfair? How about this.

The Youth Baseball League of New Haven, Connecticut has banned a 9-year-old from pitching. Simply because he can pitch. Boy can he pitch.

Jericho Scott throws about 40 mph. He’s almost unhittable. But the wusses running the League see the young Scott as not being talented so much as he is dangerous.  His coach was told Scott must play some other position or the team would be disbanded.

This is yet another clear example of the wimpification of America.

Why does Scott pitch? Because that’s what he does well.

What is his job when goes to the mound to pitch? To do his best and get the other batters out.

And how does the League respond? It penalizes the boy….because he performs to the best of his ability. Instead of serving as an inspiration to other teams to raise their level of performance to match or surpass that of f Scott’s, the League’s response is to punish achievement.

This is the epitome of unfairness. Shame on society and shame on America for allowing this kind of attitude towards our aspiring youth to take hold.
