To belt or not to belt

What’s wrong with primary enforcement of seat belts? Plenty.

1) Approving public policy based on federal blackmail is wrong. The policy should be decided on the merits.

2) Do we want law enforcement concentrating on searching for motorists not buckled up? Don’t they have more important things to handle?

3) Anyone who thinks this won’t be used as a revenue generator by police is crazy.
